Overcoming Anxiety After Receiving a Shock Diagnosis: Rohini’s Prediabetes & PCOS Story

“If you listen to your body when it whispers you won’t have to hear it scream”

In this talk, learn tools to listen to your body and overcome anxiety after a shock health diagnosis. Rohini will share her personal experience of polycistic ovary syndrome (PCOS) and how she healed her symptoms including acne, irregular periods, and anxiety, with a plant-based lifestyle. She will also discuss strategies for reversing insulin resistance after receiving a diagnosis of prediabetes in her twenties.

PCOS is the most common endocrine disorder worldwide, affecting at least one in ten women. It is the number one cause of infertility. Alarmingly, three in four of those with PCOS remain undiagnosed because of the complex nature of the condition. Rohini will discuss how her journey with PCOS led to her co-writing Living PCOS Free with her mother, Ob-Gyn Dr. Nitu Bajekal, to empower others living with the condition.
